That's Stannard off Voeckler's Christmas card list.

haha
I think Titi looked behind him about 10 times too many on his breakaway

tommy close to tears being interviewed saying he saw standard riding but pointedly asking for who..

Hayman, who got third.

Hope that helps, Tommy.

Love mountain finishes!

Wiggins did well to recover and get back to Valverde and Rodriguez at the end. Missed the bonus seconds though. Heijedal nowhere.
-
• #1235
I don't think there are any bonus seconds on the mountain top finishes

It's a race Tommy V, people race to win, like you do.
He's known for playing possum on breakaways, pretending he's blown then attacking, can't whinge about Stannard trying to deliver Hayman to the line

Hayman was the Dutch U23 champ in 1999 and rode for Rabo for almost 10 years
I was.

I was most non-plussed to be suddenly attacked and chased down by Ian Stannard whilst cycling to Sainsburys tonight; he was rambling like a madman, having ridden non-stop from San Remo to Flanders to race DDV then back via Calais to Dover and across Kent to SE London.
I think Sky should let him get off his bike for a bit of "down time" you know; he's doing laps of the Catford gyratory at 30 mph as we speak, it's just not healthy.

Hmm. Valverde looks very comfy. I'm not sure what Wiggins can do against him without a TT stage to win him time.
I can't help but think Purito will burn out and get dropped. Hopefully not.

Enjoyed the end of today's stage, Wiggins putting the hammer down, though his lack of pace, more change of pace worried me, when the stage winner whose name I forget surged past him I wondered how he would deal with the sudden changes of tempo when he's in the mountains alone and fighting for the GC lead. But maybe that is what he's testing here.
Enjoyed his aggression and combativity, turning into a nicely poised race..

Plenty more like that to come from Quintana. I think he'll win a shitload of grand tour stages.
Great finish that.
