  • Yep it felt good to go round and round a bit.

Am I the only one finding ‘Rider HQ’ a royal pain in the neck to navigate and book on?

  • Nah it’s a right faff. Also, everything is sold out.

  • everything is sold out

Yeah it’s all a bit Glasto website trying to get a spot

  • Really enjoyed my first Friday morning session today. Bit less "fuck me when will this be over over" Saturday vibe and a bit more "oh were done already, that was great".

Sunshine and no wind obviously helps.

  • Track League sold out in 10 minutes! Can see why though, it's a great way to spend an evening avoiding the rona.

  • I'm told you have to log in at noon two weeks before the thing you want to attend... destroy this message... over.

  • Wimped out of today's session in the rain, booked into my first crit racing skills on top of inters to make up for it next week.

Anyone know what the spectator situation is for the Fixed Beers track league? Would like to go watch the races on the 22nd.

  • There will be beer on tap.

  • Excellent, hopefully see some of you there

  • Mildy terrifying today trying (and failing) to keep up with @Biggles567 in the pissing rain.

Hope you got back ok, bike looks ace.

  • Thanks! Was good to run into you today :) Journey home was damp hah but not too bad, will drop you a message next time im headed down, will ride the nice wheels!

  • Anyone know if the booking system for Herne Hill Saturday inter session will change or accommodate more riders? As it is rather frustrating to book in two weeks in advance to ride and that’s if you can log into the system to book any places in the first place…

  • Planning on going back to inters after a 6 month lay off with very little riding of any sorts done recently.

Ok to jump straight back in (thinking Friday not Saturday) or would it be polite/sensible to do a track skills first?

  • Herne Hill Velofete this weekend.

  • Just a plug, not that anyone has any spare quids at this time of year: https://supportus.fhhv.cc/fundraising/500km-in-one-go-

  • South London Grand Prix
This afternoon and evening. Good field of entrants will make for good racing. The men's 67 lap madison yesterday evening was amazing.

  • Last night was a brilliant night of racing - apart from being Baltic - the speed from the mens scratch onwards was bonkers …. good turn out what with the weather , looking forward to this afto/evening but with a lot more winter layers !

  • That guy on the lapboard/bell was amazing.
    Me lol

  • Ha ! Wasn’t Alec trying to get you to flip them faster in the final madison ? !
    Plus , hope you’ve got your thermals/ sou’wester ready for today …

  • He started race without knowing what laps the points were on. Rookie

  • I mean it was 7 laps to the first sprint then every 5

  • Well that was good. Day 2 and relegated from my lap board/bell duties to customer liaison officer due to glut of BC commissaires.
Better weather meant a larger more jubilant crowd.
    Roll on next year.

  • Just booked in a taster session at HHV and found it hilarious I had to give consent to my under-18 child that I haven't got who isn't coming along and definitely hasn't read the disclaimer to take part. Excellent form fu there, RiderHQ. All bases covered.

  • Well, that was a blast. Highly enjoyable; will be back.

  • Which session were you in ? Just did Tuesday afto inters and the wind was killer …. !
