Apart from the people, new Lego is barely recognisable as Lego :-(

I bought a load of the Star Wars mini lego when that came out (ten?) years ago, decorated my desk at work. Still get occasionally tempted by the new stuff out of nostalgia, even though that sounds like a contradiction. The Imperial Shuttle looks amazing, but the asking price is mental.

New Lego is making a shift back to the older style with less custom "bits", I'm impressed. I have to photograph supermarkets interiors for one of my clients, so always check out the toys isle. This is how I found out about the new Thundercats.

I could imagine my missus coming home during it kicking it and asking if I'd put the washing machine on yet and to stop mucking about thus breaking my kid's hearts.

Page 13 wins me me so far. Found this in my grandad's garage and we spent ages trying to get the engine started. It's basically a petrol powered kite. Never did get it airborn.

Those cox engines were notoriously bad.
A step up to a decent manufacturer like OS was pricey though.
Brushless electric now dominate that scale.
