I though you were talking about the future bike that can run the 29c ;)

the best 700c tyres I have tried is the Cypres in 32mm on wide rims (mavic A319), but nothing can beat my 42c Hetres that's a little heavier than your Marathon Supreme (395g)
Mind you I'm tempted to get the ultralight 38c Pari-Moto tyres that weight a mere 300g.

CX bike with di2? Hm, I'm not so sure about that. It all looks a bit messy, to be honest - gadgets, wires and cables everywhere.
-
• #181
Needs seapost battery and tidier wiring, but otherwise pretty rad. I like it.
-
• #182
yea and they havent actually finished with it, I was just done with waiting ;)
V Twin needs to be rebled and cables cut to right lengths etc.Thinking abt seat post battery but it'll have to wait
Also not a CX bike

It says CX on the forks and the clearances everywhere look a lot more as a CX bike, rather than a fast road bike. But it's not my bike. It's yours. If you like and enjoy it - that's what matters.

• #184
yea well disc specific road components dont exist ;) dont have enve money as well
-
• #185
I don't really get it
-
• #186
Pfft CX bikes are road bikes.
To me it looks like a well specified versatile beast. Stick some luggies on it and smash it around the forest when you are bored with the roads. Win.

Makes sense to me.
But hide the fucking battery! -
• #188
Is it built to take Di2 wiring? or aftermarket? if so look at Dammit's for inspo
-
• #189
built to take Di2 wiring, kioko updated the firmware yesterday so that it is compatible with internal battery (and multi shift etc) but i'll need to get a new junction box and battery for that :) will do maybe in couple of months time

V Twin needs to be replaced with TRP HY/RD.
ftfy.
The battery look like it'll get in the way with the seat tube bottle cage.

I got the 9070 internal battery, new junction box etc- it's an expensive exercise.
Having had a play with making my own batteries now I'd be strongly tempted to follow the guide that Danstuff put in his thread about cutting up the standard battery mount.
