I rode a single speed CX bike as my only bike for the last 2 1/2 years so yes.
I am now back on fixed and use that for exactly the same purposes/same routes.

I've been wanting to build a SSCX bike for a while, I think it's actually going to happen now I have inspiration! Is there many/any SSCX only races?
