Not if you can't afford to ship it home after leaving it stateside after a holiday....
Well, you can dream it for sure...
Ah but I'm planning to go back to America soon, a good trade off is to bring a frame for a friend and then take my bike back to the UK.

Aren't all ganstas?

Dude, it's a small and it got a 130mm headtube, even with the CX fork, it's too low for you.
And I'm never selling that bike.

Nah, I rode Scott's (which I believe was a medium), and it was still too small for me (you).
We dress the same. -

Still not convinced by the caliper brakes.
Surely adding some canti brake mounts would work better. For dry or wet use with not much mud I would rather have calipers as they actually work better and are less faffing around!
Okay, they don't look very 'cross' but I can live with that. -
• #284
Sure, It's not even about looks now, BUt I'd go the extra mile and add the mounts I guess.
Very tempted on getting a used steamroller to knock about, until I can afford a custom.
What's the max tire width, the steamroller can take? -

Work better than mini-v?
Sure modulation is nicer on caliper, but mini-v have the ulimate stopping power shy of disc.

Hence adding the brake mounts to the steamroller. My concerns are only about tire clearance.
That one above, albeit fixed, is the only SR I can find wiv fatties. -

That Steamroller look like shit and you like it because of the tyres?
Get a Cross Check instead, what the point of adding mount when the Cross-Check can have up to 45c tyres?

Also found this while searching for a Cross check with knobby;

Which is pretty close to what I'd have custom made.(Obvsly, clearances/geo won't be the same but I've ridden a SR before, so it's all good. And the bike will have to do both commuting/off-road, trails)
This other one, Kelly Knobby X. Very Surlyesque rear too.
But we should defo start organizing weekend "races". ;)
Springfield Park FTW,... leads to Hackney Marshes.
It's beyond awesome.
