Anyone interested in a SSCX forum ride out to Epping or something early in the new year?

Factory over-tightening of the nut at the caliper end of the hose, causing the olive to shatter inside the caliper. This caused mine to leak fluid whilst also being impossible to re-bleed.

Aestetichs are out of the SSCX equation - people who spread negative vibes in this very thread either doesn't ride their SSCX bike 3 times a week or are just lost souls <3

Yes. Epping Forest on Sunday was the last time as I cycled to Theydon Bois to see my nan for lunch.

Great stuff. How do you find it, in terms of handling, off road?

The bike performed well but the tyre choice is really not suited to anything above gravel / loose dirt so the muddier bits were tough at low speed. Other than that, it was excellent fun.

I guess It could probably do with the bars being slightly higher to help with handling as my weight is a bit too forward but not enough to warrant the cost of changing it.

Looking forward to the next excursion.

Darn shame about the price, look like the owner forget to put a shim inside the levers for compact drop.

I still don't see the absolute necessity of that shim. The transition on mine seems great without (on compact drops).

What is this talk about shim and levers?

Those TRP come with shim that fit inside the levers for compact and classic drop.

No , am sorry that cinelli is very very nice . Also just want to thank everyone on forum that didnt buy my specialized tricross singlecross when it was for sale . I am having such a blast on it at mo I dont know why I thought to try and sell .
