I have yet to read a good experience with chain tensioner and CX, someone surprise me :]

But do you have read any bad one's? I mean it works just like a rear mech..

No it doesn't

No it cetainly does not. A rear mech has two springs and sprockets to tension and keep the chain in place. The one pictured above only have one spring and guidewheel. On rough roads it will skip eventually.

There does exist double spring and pulleywheel tensioners but whole idea of a simplistic singlespeed goes away slightly. Chainstay mounted tensioners that fixes the chain tension is a better solution in my mind, but can compromise transmission efficiency as a whole.

Used to carry two tubes & tools as below, but it burst open a couple of times so now it's just one tube, tools, proper tyre levers, spare chain links & quick-links.

You could carry CO2 in there and I have once before. My pump is an old too-long-for-a-jersey-pocket Topeak, held in a clip by one of the bottle cages.
I also carry the Lezyne boot/patch kit in there too now.

It's awesome, but if you don't do it up properly, you'll lose all your content in one go.

That goes in jersey pocket; although I tried putting it in the tool roll and wrap around it, it stays there but keeps annoying noise banging against seat post.
