RIP. Again.
Can we have a debate -- like they are in Paris -- about banning oversize lorries from the city completely? Unload goods onto small vans for the final leg.
But when we're in a climate in which this govt. want to INCREASE the speed limit for trucks to 'boost the economy', it's obviously never going to happen.
Meantime, have to try and stay safe somehow.

I hadn't heard from a friend who commutes on the A13, then he got in touch and I was relieved, then a felt like a complete heel for being relieved. Two little girls losing their dad before Christmas, rip Brian.

Mr Florey’s best friend and colleague Barry Marsh, 40, said: “He was a doting father and lived for his family. He was a bubbly guy but above all a perfect gentleman. Everybody liked him and he was a genuine, straightforward nice man and a great friend.
“He was a good cyclist who rode for a club, he knew what he was doing and had all the gear and was as fit as a fiddle.”
He added: “We worked together for the fire brigade and were on the same shift. He was very popular at work and would help anyone out. We are all devastated by the loss.”
