The gods immediately decided that it was a shit idea and snapped my only compatible bike though.

Workshop or portable? Are they any good?

I bought some Pedros and wasn't that impressed with them. Much like me, they seem too fat.
I still like my cheapie "red ones" that I've carried in my punkcha kit for the last 20 years.

Having started this thread, I must confess that I switched to Pedros a long time ago and they are still the best.
Nonetheless, I wonder if this TyreKey works as advertised, if it does, it might be very interesting.

Pedros annoy me. They're big, annoying to hook onto spokes if that's your thing. I prefer my shitty little old red ones, unfortunately I snapped one of the pair after packing them in my kit for >20 years.

I snapped a Pedros which seemed wayyy too easy.

I haven't yet, but that's because I've mostly used my cheap levers instead of the fat Pedros.

schwalbes are the best. snapped pedros, park, and all the rest, the schwalbes laugh in the face of anything

I'm possibly the worst person to change a tyre you'll meet but this has been a revolution.

I've got one of them too. They're actually not bad but again pretty bulky compared to my cheapie levers.

Park blue ones were shite. Too thick. Halfords black ones were better. Manly thumbs wherever possible... show no tears.

Proper technique is palms, not thumbs.
