Yeah - I see Obama by a hair's breadth. Looks like they've got the vote out judging by the pictures I've seen of queues.
Not sure I'll bother staying up like I did in 2008. There was more of an air of history being made then and it was a bit more comprehensive and clear-cut by this time.

I wouldn't know what to think.
These are the people who voted Nixon in twice, a cowboy actor, a liar, and a couple of moronic warmongers. Good luck!

SuperPrecise (aka SP) recently stated on this very forum that if Romney is elected he is 'giving up' on America. I personally don't think the US could cope with such a crippling blow to its morale in these difficult times.

...yeah but they also once selected this guy so they make good decisions once in a while.

I'm staying up to watch this. I'd stay up to watch any election, though, I love elections.

Warmonger the Second had it fixed on his behalf by the still battle starved Warmonger the First, which is a bigger favour than your old man buying your first car I suppose. George Version 2 was in no way voted in. That election was clearly bought.

Yeah, he snuck in a bit like that accountant with the big head did over here.

You have to go back to Jim Callaghan to find a British PM who didn't get us involved in a war so I am not sure we can point fingers on that particular question.

Admittedly they were mostly started by the US.

Didn't do anything about the horn, though did he? Just as bad as all the others

I don't think Eric B would be a bad president at all. Mink coats for all

Would Rakim by his vice president by default?

Unfortunately I see the republicans winning this one :/

An interesting night - polls look like they have it for Obama - of course they could be wrong and Karl Rove could be right -(http://news.investors.com/politics-andrew-malcolm/110612-632299-election-prediction-close-race-with-romney-beating-obama-narrowly.htm)
I can't see Romney getting Florida and Ohio. It's gripping that it appears to be going to the wire but that might just be me. -

Is there actually anyone (apart from 48% of the US) of the US, who actually want Romney in?
Everyone I've spoken to seems astounded he's even an option, and the media the same.
But may that's just a UK perspective, which is in general more left than the US.

Really?! I'm not prepared to accept this as a possibility.

That's the whole issue isn't? It's not a real democracy if you use FPTP.

Ah Jeb and Florida: Blacks and Hispanics that had actually voted had their votes ignored on the basis they were convicted felons that shouldn't have had the right to vote, I think?

Sorry, I've been feeling down lately. See the worse side in most things :/

This. I love watching elections.
The tension.
The commentators who know fuck all.
The biased member of each party, who seem blind to reality.
The live coverage at the counts.

Wait so the actually winner is gonna be anounced tonight?
Sorry I'm a bit new to this.
So, let's get this show on the road.
Whose watching tonight?
What do people think the result will be?
The popular vote seems too close to call, but I think the Democrats have the edge in the key states.
