I'm gonna chat to Bob about cost of storing in the cages it at the velodrome, can't keep at house really and even if could no handy motor now to take it over each session want to ride...

I think it's only about £30 a year at hh.

^ hope it's similar here in Manchester.
Anyway, here's the frame after headset & fork fitted, phone flash wouldn't work so it's by torchlight...

Needs moar chain, but otherwise ready to go:
Be great if I had a large white wall and decent camera with flash for a nice picture, but this is about as good as it'll get for now.

P.s. I've negotiated storage at the velodrome, so it'll be living there.

After paternity break, and quick change to 165's and 49t had a test ride today, was great fun, feels nice:

Bluddy luvvly. I like the purple rims, nice touch.

you should try to find a flat top tange cromo fork for that. They are dirt cheap and common and makes it look complete

^ have you got a link to some please?
^^ ta!
Am thinking £20 for decals is probably a nice finishing touch

Also, excited as will be riding it this eve after a couple weeks of no track.

Frame colour is amazing.
Those rims are really not my cup of tea, and I think something a bit more classic and a bit less BLB would complement the hard work you've done on it already beautifully.
But the fact that it's getting ridden is obviously the most important point! Have fun tonight.

I'd go full mental on that frame

Yeah, that rear rim will be a bit marmite to viewers for sure. It's on there as it's all I had, other than my everyday road on one / open pro or on one / ambrosio excursions both pairs of which have been hammered on the roads through all weathers.
If I could find a matching rim and hub to pair up with the front (open pro with 36 h Suzue pro max) then that'd be simplest change to make to balance the look out.
As it stands I'm happy, have probably spent almost the same on it as what I paid for it, so an OTP Dolan would've been cheaper but not as satisfying!

I've ordered some decals, hope I don't screw up painting them on.

i think cannondale track looks better with threaded fork & traditional quill stem, think about it..

Silver Thomson finishing kit would work.

Been thinking this all along and was just coming to say, needs some steel forks.

Re: fork - if interested folks see suitable one shout me, once decals go on this goes on back burner in terms of hunting stuff out as it'll simply be ridden weekly (I hope) whilst littl'un grows up.
