Not really... the chap I bought it off used to ride for a cycle shop in Leicester.

A chap I'm very good friends with used to work there as-well confirmed he used to ride for them in the 80's.

Feel free to believe this bike is not genuine etc, but well, it is genuine.

I'm 5'6 (Looking for a 53cm bike) I think its just too big.

I agree it's a weird sticker to use, but the sloping fork crown, thin lugs, brazing on the rear brake bridge all suggest that it's a very good quality frame (27.2 seatpost would confirm that it's 531 butted or similar).

Considering the quality and condition of both the frame and the components, it's a great bike regardless of the provenance.

Does anyone have a similar bike in terms of Paint Work? Around 53cm

The more I look at this, the more I like it: has one of the best "fade" paintjobs I've ever seen, the balance is just right.

That Reynolds sticker is incongruous, but as lae says it is clearly a quality frame whatever it's history.

May have to split if no interest in full bike?
