Road fork is tapered steerer, ffs! CX fork is 1 1/8th all the way. Not sure I want a disc caliper or mini-vees on my sMash, and they look more suited to integrated headsets...

This is a copy of the email I have just sent to 1000AA - so you know what is happening
Hi 1000AA,
I overall money I have gathered from everyone is £2908 - that is for all 22 frames (including mine and yours) and postage+beers.
That corresponded to £2578 for frame costs + £330 for postage/beers. We now have 10 frames at £5 for sparkles so that is £2628 + £280 for postage and beers
Please find attached the latest spreadsheet with costs based on today's PLN/GBP rate, which works in our favour, therefore we save around £13 overall.
The total order comes up to £2615 for all Mielec work including powdercoat/clearcoat/sparkle and therefore £293 left for postage+beers.
Let me know if that is in line with what you agreed with Robert and I will transfer him the money tomorrow.
I'll also copy this email onto the forum to keep everyone updated.
Cheers
Vince

Nice work chaps.
Could be interested in a crabon fork or two, possibly some rims. Will keep an eye on proceedings.

He used your real name because you're Polish and you definitely didn't introduce yourself as tysiac archaniolowie and you don't know if he used Vince's real name or his forum name

The frames have now been paid.
Final cost £2640 for 22 frames, or exactly £120 per frame.
This leaves us with £268 for postage so I guess there won't be much beer money left...

I'll get my brother to bring you a few beers round when he goes to pick up the bikes...

I think we should save the beers for the Mielec Ride!

A similar config with normal tubing was £122 including postage. Although I think the paint wasn't done by mielec on this bike.
EDIT: too late, sry for double post...

Yeah its the triangular tubing prices that I'm worried about...
as long as its under £250 I'm gonna be all over it!

Triangle Tubing doesn't add much to the price, i think you'll be surprised if you drop him an email
ah sorry that was somebody else with crappy moulds, you're right, 89$
