Nice paint choice!
This has probably been one of the most productive Friday afternoons I've had in a while! Turned out surprising well I think considering it's a super-budget build to be left at the station...

I don't quite remember but does anyone remember aprox weight on some 58ish seattube frames? If not i ll just go over the thread again

Find out the rake of the seat stay, get a straight fork at equivalent rake, powdercoat to match and you'd have a good novelty bike IMVHO of course.
Rear end just looks wrong IMVHO.Nice paint choice!

Rear end just looks wrong IMVHO.Sorry, I don't really follow - what do you mean the rake of the seat stay? I did want straight forks but the purpose of the build was to be cheap & these forks were the cheapest at the correct rake, I'm also not overly keen on trying to powder coat carbon - would it not just disintegrate?

Powdercoat involves heat AFAIK. So it's not something for carbon.

I thought he wanted a straight fork... -

I'm fine with it thanks - if we went down the wants route it would be completely different and cost 4x as much. For the price & purpose I like it how it is.

Shiney.

Looks like the front end has melted that Ergostem is doing that no favours...
-
• #3824
I really don't like them.
-
• #3825
Without the ergostem that'd be a serious contender for nicest Mielec!
fake ones look nicer too aha
