  • Built like a brick shithouse?

  • France is a complex country.

    ...with short-femur cyclists.

  • Latest picture of mine with some decent bars and a decent sized stem, just looking for omniums and to cut down the steerer

  • Come round and spray the forks black mate, also may as well spray the tri braking surface.

  • For those who liked the pink touch Mielec Gash I built for my brother, here is the brakeless riser version (Thomson Elite stem and Charge Spit risers).

It is really nice to ride AND IT BARSPINZ!

For those doubting the manliness on vehicles we ride/drive, here is a nice groupshot:

  • Ourys? They would just complete this build perfectly

  • off course haterz gonna hate and whatevs but jeeeez, its dog ugly.

  • what is the seatpost?

  • Ourys? They would just complete this build perfectly

Ourys would be much nicer than those SE Lager.

    what is the seatpost?

The seatpost is a GUB CNC, 31.6mm. Less than £20 all in on eBay.
    Really light, great quality too.

  • My new favorite Mielec. Makes me kinda regret not ordering a pink one...

  • For those interested in the sparkle clearcoat over raw alumnium, although it looks much nicer in real lifer, here is a half decent close up in the sun:

  • Collecting parts for my Mielec build which will be painted in two days. The fork is from a trek oclv 110, I'm a little worried about the safety? Does anyone knows if the inside of the fork is aluminium?

  • It's only got one wheel and it's already not the worst build on the page.

  • I sort of love Vince's builds and attitude that good taste is for others and he should just build something ridiculous.

  • Slack chain.

  • New tyres. Going clipless soon and keeping an eye out for a cheap SLR.

  • Today we found out that my mate's mielec had dodgy BB threads cut :/

Ah well only a tenner to get them re-done.

  • Today I took out my Token 103mm, fitted a UN55 107mm. Now instead of the spider hitting the body of the stays, I only have the chainring bolts gouging my single layer of white powder coat. Think I'm going get a fresh battery for my digital verniers and a 1 or 2 mm spacer. Fuck buying another BB.

On the other hand I laced up some retro GP4 tub rims onto a pair of quando flipflop hubs, and another GP4 onto a front Formula LF hub. Any tips on puncture resistant 25mm tubs, £20-25 each?

sub £25 tubs!? you can have vittoria rally or........ vitoria rally. They're not bad though.

  • Hmmm, though Rally were nearer £15. Used them before but I don't remember them being particuly puncture resistant.

  • Anyone interested in buying an XL Mielec in red? Mash style with regular stays in red. PM me if interested.

Is that a real Alpina fork? It looks slack in the picture..

  • Yeah it's a road model though rather than the track version you tend to see! If anybody wants to trade for the track version or has one for sale let me know!

  • I have some 4Za Ellyps forks for sale here, maybe something you would be interested in?

only tubs i know sub £25 are giro and rally, rally is the best of the 2 and comes in 25c. It one of the only tubs I've used though. Its a training tub so should be thicker and more puncture resistant than most others. tubs are for racing, you dont pay for puncture resistance you pay for light.

conti sprinter gaterskin should be puncture resistant. new they're almost £40 though.

I dont think tubs went too cheaply on ebay last time I looked either.
