@ apollo: the possibilities are endless... 'αλάνι' works great too. I was thinking 'ρεμαλι' to keep up with the '-lli' part of the existing logo. Basically you just made my life more complicated. Sooo many words to chose from (& logos suck anyway).

So Vince came round and we actually got the bikes built tonight, we also managed to do the time lapse...
Best bit was your bone-idle alcoholic pals largely failing to pretend to be interested in what you were both doing in favour of flaking out to watch more guff on a fancy-pants telly in a snazzy apartment while many people they don't know exist such as myself watched and wondered what all of you happened to be talking about.
Needs a sequel - I'm hooked already.

250 views on the video already!
The shirt is from Primark, £7 only.
I've got another Mielec frame to put together so will time lapse it, probably in 2s intervals instead of 5s.

I'm a fan of the long grips that fit snugly against the stem look but as I run a brake I thought I couldn't pull it off... How did you do it?

That seattube is ridiculously vertical, layback seatpost time?
-
• #2185
I'll see how it fits but it might need to be.

ODI grips put in place then roll back the width of the brake clamp, fit the brake lever, roll the grips back over it. Then cut a little square so it looks nice (i've not done this yet)
@Vince, what RAL code did you go for with the triple triangle?
I went for RAL 4010 Telemagenta, with a sparkle clear coat. A few of us went to Telemagenta.

Hm so your brake lever clamp sits right next to the stem? In that case it wouldn't be anywhere near where my hands are... Well I don't like riding with risers anyway, it's all about the look heh.

Anyone know what finish that frame has? Could it be some kind of tinted clear coating?

Here are some pictures of the frame I got for my brother.
Mash geo, lower rear stays, drilled for brakes, standard headset, standard welds, sparkle clearcoat. This was £100 all in (including shipping - I think this is great value.
Gash stickers courtesy of V-L (£2ish a pop).

Is it too late to be your brother?

Lower seat stays look pretty sweet. Those welds though...

The BB height of those frames is relatively high, making the standover size higher than a 'standard' frame.
My brothers' frame is a 54cm and since he is only 5ft7" (170cm), this is likely to be too big for him.
I will need to build it and let him try it.

chainring finally arrived. Off to go get some hacksaw blade for the forks and should be finished pretty soon.

Would it be wrong to put these on my Milec
With a non IHS?
@ 1000AA: 50 dorrah spokks? That's a reasonable price.
