Hmm. Just read this whole topic while messaging with robert. A bit confused about the headset. Should I get integrated headtube? A chinese ccccarbon fork is coming (3t ::)), will it work with traditional? Also, did you guys do any work to bb shell and headtube before installing?

I think the frames come with a headtube for an integrated headset unless you order traditional. For the fork it doesn't matter.

They come for standard and you have to specify integrated and its €25 extra i do believe.

I'm sorry you are right headtube is for a traditional headset. You just have to buy the right headset so you can put the right crown race on your fork. Than you will be fine.

I measured the cockpit of my current track bike which has a 12cm. This XL has 1cm less toptube.

Remember seat angle comparison for correct "reach" calculation.

I'm going to set the saddle and bars relative to the bb so angles won't matter.

I'm really tempted to grab a headset, seatpost and clamp and transfer all the stuff off my fuji so I can ride it round. It'll look a bit shit though.

seemed to hit an issue the BB does not want to go it straight at all. Will getting the cased and faced fix this or is my BB fucked?

Should do, as long as you haven't screwed it in too far wonky. Even then it can rescue it.
