What size is the 1st one?
-
• #1182
Second one needs a straight blade fork with a bit less rake. Rear clearances look good though and IHS with smooth welds is a winning combination IMO.

• #1183
1st one has custom geo so I don't really know!
-
• #1184
looks like more triditional geo, looks nice

270mm and ive got the XL mielec on the way. ill be alright. £20 well spent
-
• #1189
I've got a 410mm x 31.6mm layback left over from my last polo bike, don't think I'll need all that length but I'm hoping to have enough post sticking out to use it!
-
• #1190
polo changed, custom frames, disc brakes, thomson bits from polo bikes going spare...
-
• #1191
My new custom frame took a 27.2 and I'd given it a slack enough seat tube not to need layback anyway...
And it cost a lot more than a Mielec!
-
• #1192
It cost more than anything.
-
• #1193
It cost more than any single item you've ever bought.
ftfy, next closest item was a second hand Paul Donohue 853 roadbike.

• #1194
I think it was right the 1st time. Anyway, this seems like strange work to be missing polo for.

i been seeing a fair few laybacks go for cheap on the bay. Tempted to get one to match the stem although i think they're really ugly

I like the look of that one. Very simple.
Still think the dropouts look a bit shonky. But, I also wish I'd jumped on this bandwagon.
-
• #1198
I still think if he sorted those dropouts he could sell these for alot of money (hope we doesn't though, i want moar)
