  • The stickers from the sticker bomb book fade real quick and die if they get wet. I've had personal experience lol. Not a fan of the stem but turned out fairly nice.

  • man it looked better before with the green wheelset and whatever else you changed out... made it no bueno...

Yeah I agree it did look great, but after 2 years of green I got sick of it... Wanted a change, and liked the look of the deep-rim wheels.

Thanks for that, have you had any experience of using lacquer with them? I'd cover them in a coat of lacquer to make it waterproof and hopefully not fade.

  • Get yourself a quill stem, put the green wheels back on, then leave it as it is man, looks awesome and much more sophisticated like that. Stickerbomb is just goign to make it look cheap and like you've borrowed your younger brother's bike. Just MPO

Only use an extremely thin coat of lacquer because to much will soak them and they'll fall to pieces. Mine still faded so it depends on what you use tbh.

  • Wrap it in christmas paper

  • New bars.

  • New bars.

the world needs more Jhonen Vasquez bikes!

  • So much better man. It actually looks good rather than meh.

Wheels still aren't what I'd have chosen but I'd definitely ride it :-)

Haha cheers Jake, what wheels do you reckon I should use then?

Haven't had a proper chance to have a go yet, need to put a front brake on.

  • They're fine wheels, I just don't like the rim colour. Formation Faces are aight, just think they're better in black.

  • Was thinking about spraying them black to be honest. But I'd probably do a bad job at It... Especially with the white hubs.

  • Put starlight zone stickers on it

  • Glow in the dark stars? Haha

  • That thing looks like a letterbox full of junk mail.

Thanks mate! :D That's the style I was going for :)

  • Good work dude, hella nicer than my first fixed.

Think the head tube and dropouts need coverage though, leaving just the fork black.

    Thank you!

I was thinking about doing the head tube, I found the 'turd polisher' sticker and wanted that to stand out. I know what you mean about leaving the fork just black, maybe I should sticker bomb some of the fork? Perhaps just the inner, or outer blades, or just the top or bottom halves?

  • ?

  • I think he is mocking you and offering you £1 for your bicycle...

Oh haha, I don't think I'm ever going to sell it :)

Unless I miraculously got offered £1000 or more, which isn't gonna happen haha.

  • I think personally it would have looked a lot nicer not covering the whole thing in stickers. Ie, leaving sections of the old black showing. Each to their own though, that's just me.

  • I have a rawed Bianchi 80's frame build (my beater) and I'm moving to London next week & accordingly a little worried about it being nicked (given that I moved back from Japan 2 months ago and have been living the Lake District since).

Considered sticker bombing if it'll lessen the chances of it getting nicked (I've already invested in a good lock).
