Man plans murderous ride. Man builds fresh bike from scratch. I like your style. Next time you want a holiday, build a new island.

Does metal need to cure for a certain time after welding before the joints are good and strong?
I have no idea, it just occurred to me.

In this case (steel, not welded but brazed), no. But most aluminium does after welding. Best of luck, awesome project.

I cant help but feel this could have been supreme if it had been documented on video.
It would have made an awesome youtube or with proper editing a tv short.Still, it's wonderful stuff, hat doffed at you sir.

I was also in evans the other day, and a friendly young man informed me that it mattered not that I had done no training, as they had some magical bars which would add an extra 5 hours to my maximum endurance limit, and increase my wattage output by 76%. So I bought some, problem solved.
that is gold

Truly awesome, how much on average does a set of tubes for a build cost ?
Frame is finished and is well within tolerance which is a relief. It still needs a large amount of clean up, so don't worry too much about the mess.
(It's not a low pro, just a funny angle)
To aid in my cleaning up of the excess flux, I needed to put the frame in my dedicated soak tank.
However, I am not allowed to have a dedicated soak tank in the flat, and have no space in the workshop, so it went in the bath.

Tomorrow I will clean up the frame, build the bike, carbo load and sleep.
