  • If it hurty your bum bum, lower the saddle a tad.

  • Paaaaretty sure I never mentioned pedals.

Ed, it's more due to the fact that I have a fat arse...

    orly?

Fitted pedals...am going to ditch the whole straps and cages idea. Have fitted atacs.

    see?

    I know, my bad.

    no worries.

  • I never even used those though ;-) I fitted and took off.

  • AAWWWWWWWWw!?

    Animals thread >>>>>>>

  • Ed, it's more due to the fact that the saddle isn't the right shape...

Even those with fat arses still rode with narrow saddle, it's more a question of whether the shape work for you or not.

I had a wider than average sitbones but get on well with the Brooks B17.

  • Yeah that is what I meant sorry - it's the shape it's so thin, even at the back. Will give it time though, hopefully I'll either get used to it or the padding may soften up a bit.

  • It also worth pointing out that those saddle aren't meant to be ridden in a sit-up-and-beg manner, they may feel much more comfortable when there's more of a saddle to bar drop.

the more upright you are, the wider your sitbones get.

You got a Pompino with a drop handlebar, experiment with this by putting that saddle on the bike and ride on the drop bar, incidentally you should try and do some hamstring stretching that'll likely to make a bigger saddle to bar drop felt upright.

  • ^yes, I did think this, in a similar manner to FiveGold's being shit, unless you're in the drops.

    My pomp has risers.

  • Dtm.

  • I do love a list.
