  • I'd guess that Deda 215s are the lightest. 215g

Deda Piegas aren't too bad for cheap.

  • Thx...

Do you know of any light 26mm black quill stems as well?

  • Some weights here, but as you can see *light *is not necessarily right.

Cinelli 1A is fairly beefy at 285g for 110mm (modern remake), but I guess it was so popular with the pros for a reason.

  • Just bought these bar & put it on my bike...

    Giant Men's Road Bar
    drop 128mm ~> 130mm
    reach 80mm ~> 93mm

  • ergos not compacts >>>>>>>>>

  • Quite compact imo

selling some of the older rare piegas... lovely bars.

  • sorry but I've had the wrong measurement on my Giant's :(

  • Reach is a bit to far

  • Has anyone got some Soma Highway 1 bars in 40cm width, 26.0 clamp? I am desperate for a pair to complete my winter bike build and SJS are out of stock...

  • as are the distributors... I think Spotter said something about April!

  • No way. Seriously? SJS were saying new stock on 14/01/14, but then it just changed to 'out of stock'.

  • Sorry its not that bad....

they won't have any till mid Feb, possibly March

  • I have some Deda Piegas, the price and weight are good and I think the reach and drop are shorter on the 38cm and 40cm versions than the wider ones. I prefer them in terms of the shape of the drops to the Bontrager Spatr I had before, they are more like the Planet-X Strada (aka the best OS bars known) in terms of shape.

  • need some 40cm bontys...
    so long to wait.
i dont know what i was thinking when i bought 44cm

  • Where did you get the piegas, Tommmmmm?

  • Because as near as makes no difference there are no 26.0 compacts for sale in the UK at the moment to my knowledge. Somas out of stock, spatr bars discontinued...

  • I got them from Wiggle, no joy there?

  • Doch:

They look like Ergo bars in the pic, but IRL they are compacts, at least the narrower ones are.

  • The M106 are very nice, does no one have those?

    As seen here:

  • Yeah I was just thinking the Nittos are probably the only ones available currently. I just can't afford them.

Tommmm, the Wiggle page doesn't look promising:

Top Features of the Deda Piega Handlebar
    Shape: anatomic

  • I actually have a set of these under my desk at work:

I'm just trying to find something a little more 'compact' with a flat transition to the hoods, so I can send the Dedas back.

  • I'll be selling my 40cm Bonts next week, get in line behind Dakin if you like.

  • I have some Noodles spare if they would suit- 42cm
