Help! I'm trying to find a rack, preferably steel and with side bars for pannier mounting, that will fit an inbred with seat stay mounted discs. Any suggestions?

Have you looked at old man mountain racks? They have a pretty good reputation and claim to fit any bike.

And Tubus.

Hi Folks,
Just thought I'd throw this into the mix....and it comes with racks too....the Specialized AWOL

It's the Deluxe that Evan's are importing, and no, I have no links with any of these companies...

And Tubus.
Which one would you recommend? The Disco seems to be the only one that they state is disc compatible but the platform on top looks rather narrow...

there is an extension part for some tubus models (most non-evo models), that might make fitting them on bikes with seatstay mounted disc brakes easier => http://www.tubus.com/product.php?xn=35
i got this and a "Logo" for my surly straggler (which has not arrived yet...) and tried fitting it on my 18'' inbred with a BB5 as a test, but it didn't work.
i will try to take some pictures in a few days (bike and carrier are at my parents' house)
maybe the adapter set for QR axles would work better => http://www.tubus.com/product.php?xn=33
Cut the stays short enough and there's no need to cap them with anything.
