how about a set of traffic lights and in the green light a sillhouette of spinning cyclist with rotational arrows going forwards around the light.
in the amber have cyclist skidding with arrows reversed and in the red a cyclist trackstanding. with arrows pointing backwards and forwards.
We've had helmets on prior designs. Not a bad shout at all... all you need is a good designer to give the idea a try.
