  • SP is the only one talking any sense here. Can we just appoint him t-shirt czar and be done with it?

No way, everyone should have a say on what it should be. I think the cake idea is actually good. It sums up the tangential nature of the forum, something that sets LFGSS apart from other fora(sp?!). LFGSS megacake. 'We came for the bikes but we stayed for the cake'. I dunno.

  • FWIW I bought a load of Under Armour charged cotton T-shirts, they were about £8 and quality wise very good.

  • jezz mom its my money let me spent it how i want

I didn't bring you up to wear t-shirts with a penis and vomit on them!

Don't worry I wasn't serious. That would be a lot of responsibility.

We'd need someone with very broad shoulders, then they'd complain the t shirts were too small for them.

Wait there was cake? I missed that. Why do I always miss cake.

  • Black or white are the worst. Black's as cool as a teenager listening to Bon Jovi, and white's school PE.

  • I wear black on the outside because black is how I feel on the inside

    also

Black is the colour of my true love's hair

  • I would enjoy a nice dark grey. More interesting than black, still doesn't show dirt or sweat too much. It also goes with all other colours including black and white!

  • Well since we are going for a choice of designs, then I'd also suggest that one of them is very plain and simple.

    Yeah, I'm a right laugh.

    This!

  • Best, longest lasting forum tee shirt was/is the black "airfix" one.

Whatever that was made of was great. It's thin, stretchy but not shiny, warm in cold weather and cool in hot, Seemes to wick better than pure cotton and the print's stuck pretty well on mine. the fit (for me anyway) was also great. Still wear mine all the time even though years of biological washing powder has started to eat little holes round the bottom of it.

TBH all the other forum tees i've bought have fallen by the wayside a bit. Wasn't a bit fan of 531 and some other early designs. Rabbit skid was cool though. I loved the fit, fabric and design of the white "peloton" shirt but I sweated stains round the pits and it's gone a bit grey. Would love another one of those.

Bought a few Tynan designs too but went off them really quickly as the obscure in joke wore off. It got embarassing when I'd occasionally realise I was in polite company wearing a garish badly drawn and spelled in joke with the word "fuck" on it. Plus the fabric on them was a bit thick and unyeilding. Gave 'em all to my local charity shop.

Anyway, there's some great designers on here and I like VB's idea of a semi-technical fabric for an all purpose all round tee with better than standard qualities for riding.

Would definitley buy Crispin Glover's cake (flan?) shirt.

    super lol at doooooooooks iconicron

A knock off of a knock off, but it just popped into my head (and the RIDE BMC was actually one of my fav. t-shirts from last year)

    Not too bad that design.

Although the Ride BMC was my favourite too (still need to order one)

  • having SS on it's own line might end up being mistaken for something racists

  • Good point. Best replace it with a swastika to remove any ambiguity.

  • and a little arrow pointing at it with the text 'this is not a windmill'

  • are you two chanelling marcom?

  • I've not heard of that one I don't think. does it involve a hosepipe?

  • Why on earth would we appropriate an existing idea like the Run DMC one or that now utterly tired out Experimental Jetset one (John&Paul&Ringo&George)? Next someone will be suggesting:

    KEEP
    CALM
    &
    DON'T
    LEAN

    Just for you
