    Put them on Gumtree

Less than 2 weeks to go, flights booked, accomodation sorted, I can't wait!

  • I know of two tickets for Saturday and Sunday. All sessions.

  • Advertise them on veloriders they'll go right away.

I'm working that weekend, otherwise would quite like a bit of scotch action

  • looking forward to this. i know everyone trained to peak at the olympics so the record times will be scant but should still be some good clashes. also haven't been to scotland in ages.

  • May not be the quickest of times but still a great few days...V.

  • Hi Chaps,
All of my friends have bailed on me so I am left with 4 tickets for the Saturday night session, block D row B , "premium seating". Happy to sell at cost if anyone is interested. Bit disappointed tbh.

  • Mens TP crashed in the qualies :(

i've got saturday evening and all day sunday tickets. psyched.

  • Few golds and a silver already...

I hear Varno's sprog did ok too. ;)

  • Kerching.

  • boom! congrats v

  • Some photos from last night (and a few from yesterday's day session)

    click

  • it seems you had quite a lot of fun with the germans :)

  • great day for the germans and as always a fantastic scratch race by laura trott

  • Morning all. Is it being televised anywhere at the moment? Caught some last night on the BBC Red Button channel, at work all day today and would love to have it on in the background.

It'll be on BBC Two from 1:30 this afternoon.

  • Sitting the stands on turn four. Great racing.

  • the german youngsters are the future!

  • Had a great night on Friday... parking was utter bullshit though. Ended up ditching the car in a ropey-looking council estate round the back of the venue, despite the main car park being near enough empty.

Great to see racing in the venue though, can't wait to get back and ride it again.

  • The two car parks were for TV/Team and VIPs. Today we got parked pretty close just across the road to the west.

  • Aye, but the main car park is HUGE. No need to block out that much space, especially when it wasn't even getting used. Either that or actually put up signs that say more than 'no spectator parking at velodrome', right at the entrance.

Anyway, I digress. Great weekend, just a minor grumble.

  • I think what you think is the main carpark is actually the staff/team/vip/coach/press carpark.

The actual main visitor carpark fills in 5 minutes flat.

You should have been directed to park in Celtic park's carpark, there's some kinda reciprocal agreement with them.

  • i took the free shuttle buses from city centre

  • Great weekend apart from the weird parking restrictions. Hope all the cars were safe. Very nice track and its always interesting see the riders adapt to the different transitions and line placement. Did you see where the 200 m line was ( not in the centre of the Bend?) Germany certainly on fire although they were riding full Olympic kit which would make a difference.
Jess gave it everything she got and given her current condition was very encouraging. Bring on Minsk.

    V
