  • TM could you tell me how much pressure you put in your tires? It's 28mm at the back 25 at the front right?

  • I run 80-90 front and 100-110 rear on the fixie skidder. Worth noting though I'm 108kg at the minute. If I were lighter I'd run 10 or more psi less.

  • Thanks! I just put the 25-28 combination on my Mielec. Trying different pressures. I weight 90kg and this rides so much better:)

  • Pressure sound about right for the weight.

  • I currently ride the right pressures according to this article.

  • Those look a bit on the high side!

    55kg rider on 150psi? lolz

  • I currently ride the right pressures according to this article.

The right pressure depend on how you find it, is it too firm and harsh? drop the pressure a bit, too spongy? raise it a bit.

  • You cannot just follow the guideline it said on the sidewall of the tyres, my 42mm said a min of 56psi, whether in reality I ran them at 40psi rear, and 35psi front (75kg)

  • The recommended pressure is according to the wheel load. So the 150 psi is not for a 55kg rider.

  • Ah, my bad.

  • I'm 90kg and run 110 front and rear!

  • I'm 82kg and rarely run over about 80 front and rear.

  • I'm less than 70kg and run 120!

  • Are we still talking about a 25-28mm combo?

  • I'm less than 70kg and run 120!

Even on 23mm that's ridiculously high.

  • Looks like it's all tinkered with now. There's nothing left to do with it now but sell it I guess.

  • Even on 23mm that's ridiculously high.

    I like it hard Ed.

  • Fnar.

  • 65 odd kg, bout one twenny.

  • (bike is lush btw)

  • This has escalated quickly, just bought Dura Ace 7800... So when that lands will have nearly everything I need to build it up.

  • Oh wow that's nice!

  • Plastic wheels?
    Looks rad.

  • minimal forks?

  • Fulcrum 5's?
