Easton Flatboy Cully's from my DH/4x days... The sloped edge of the platform makes them really easy to flip round to get into the restraps.
non-Cully models still available, my favourite flat pedal by far.

'it's hard to get out of the wind on risers'
True dat - but they just too much fun to use anything else on an NJS frame when street riding. Which is why I've gone back to them!

risers and tt extensions is where its gonna be at next year

Sorted for wheels thanks, taking ownership of DoktorP's DA7600 to Arayas... (:
Will update thread when I get them, and that with a new chain will be the build complete and returned to class.

Seat looks horrible though, sorry :(
Rolls looked far better! -

Yep it couldn't be worse suited to the build if I tried. As I repeat, take it up with my balls.

I understand, and it's all about how it rides too!

Sexy wheels! The nitto post and Kashimax saddle in previous pictures look boss, can't you restore them? + a Zen ring=
-

Yeah had to rush out to work but I'll get a photo with the nitto/kashimax for you filthy perverts. May even try riding it again... Are there any more comfortable saddles made with that rail width?

Strongly suspect I'll be nabbing those rims to also lace to DA hubs, from Pepe again, for the Argos. Would ideally prefer the anodized finish as on the Panasonic, but I'll get over it. Also I'll be braking on them, which from cursory research seems to be fine despite the lack of a surface.
Looks good. Agree on seatpost - somehow the aero appears a bit feeble; definitely needs something more assertive to stand up to the beefy frame/huge ring.

Yeah, annoyingly its a 26.8 in a house full of 27.2s.... When I find a nice 26.8 I can afford I will replace it. Was thinking nitto really , considered DA Easton but apparently they tend to snap, no good for 16 stone....

Looks better Tom, now put some drops on it and ride your other bike as HHSB.

For the saddle haters.
DoktorP, will be swapping between risers, track drops and road drops. Risers are just too comfortable, and track drops are just too uncomfortable. Joy of the quill stem it only takes a minute to transform the bike.
I do plan on getting over to Manchester for a track session soon though!

Don't blame you for not using track drop everyday, too harsh on hands for riding on the streets. But there are other choices.
Manchester should be fun with it. Haven't been there myself, only Herne Hill, once.

So sick, really looks better with the kashimax imo. And i am really fancying low profile rims now, suit it very well.

Lucked out on these wheels big time. Photos don't do them justice.

do you leave the pins in on the side strap side of the pedals?
-
• #49
I did yeah, I think without them my feet would slip out...

so when is this getting porteur bars +rack?
Yeah the aero thing with risers is the only thing that bothers me, anyway i love this bike, what flat pedals are you using with your straps?
