Damn this thing is really good. I have been waiting to see a solid Vitus build for a long long time. What does it weigh in at? How does it feel compared to a more modern frame?

Still have some bits on the way for a new wheelset, so will need to find a scale after that.
The ride is pretty comfy compared to modern carbon or alu. The frame has a bit of flex, but not noodly like the bigger sizes seem to have, this is a 54. I rode the roubaix sportive on it and eats the cobbles nicely.

Do I route the gear cables through these guides or does that little hole take a screw-on guide?

probably a vent drain hole for the BB / frame as internal condensation/water can be an issue depending on where you keep or ride a bike. I think screw on guide BB holes are tapped. Most likely wouldn't fit anyway, I'd use it as nature intended anyhoo being the purist. lol.

They're designed to just run the cable through. You might find there's enough space to put some kind of sleeve (probably PTFE) on the cable which will protect both the paint and cables.
Yes fam
