Re-infusing your own blood? It's never struck me as being that bad a thing.
It almost took out Ricco for good, so can't be all bad.

"Andy Schleck way at the back, behind his team car in fact. We don't know why."

Pinot on descending:
“When I saw that I was not able to stay on the wheel of a rider like Mark Cavendish on the descent off a mountain pass, I asked myself: ‘What am I doing on the Tour?' I received the clear response that I have nothing to do here."
Ouch.
I don't get this because generally sprinters are considered demon descenders, as they spend so long getting to the top they have to go full Wipeout and hit the afterburners to stay inside the cut. Cav is considered one of the best and also has excellent technical skills. Or was the fact he was descending with Cav in the first place? Shame, his was one of my favoruite rides on, what was it, Stage 9? With Madiot going full retard in the car.

-
• #3395
2.42pm BST Ha, there's one for the books ...
The peloton has to stop briefly at a level crossing and wait for the train to pass, which will make a good story for the driver and passengers. Unlike in Great Britain, the delay is a very short one and the riders are back on their way pretty quickly. The benefit to the breakaway group? Their lead is extended to 8min 11sec.from the Guardian feed

Might have a Frenchy Victory today. Winning on a down hill goes hand in hand with a surrendering mentality right? #casualracism
