& yeah... you can see where they've either cut back on spec or increased the cost.

They don't really do an entry level ( under £1000 ) Jake anymore either, which was a popular model.

I noticed their new high end carbon road frames take 28c tyres and mudguards.

I think Deda make their frames, it'll be interesting to see if Ribble sell those rebranded (as has happened in the the past).

versatile just means heavy which means it should be cheaper :-)

I normally find one thing in a new range that I like. Just wish there were more frame or frameset only options.

I once read about cyclists taking out heavily simplified road bikes when the weather was'nt great. Something to do with less maintainance, and improved pedalling technique gained from using the simplified drivechain.
