(Dibs a couple from your next batch.)

  • We needed poles, Magic provided poles, we has mallets. Great success! Woohoo!

  • Shit, didn't get money in my bank in time to order.

  • john if you bring a few heads to sundays tourney then beginner tournament people will be there i think

  • Yep, sure.

  • Shit, didn't get money in my bank in time to order.

  • I'll sell you Andy's. £50. #cornedbeefallergy

    I'll sell it for £49

  • Yes, similar to Perro Light and NS.

But Perro and NS are not that much similar in term of wall and durability, at 0.8 walls the magic are more like the NS right?

  • Perro Light are pretty much the same as well, 0.8mm (if I remember correctly), but yes, I'd say the Magic 0.8mm are most similar to NS Feather.

Perro normals are similar to NS Brutus & Fixcraft Light & Riks, and then at the thickest end you have Fixcraft Tough at 1.2mm.

  • From our Facebook page:

So, some good and bad news, and an exciting new product.

    Firstly the bad:

In short, a few months back our supplier sent us the heads we ordered in HDPE, rather than UHMW. They then agreed to send us some replacement UHMW heads, which were promised to be here last month. When they didn't turn up we tried to contact them over and over again, but they've simply stopped responding to us.

We had hoped we could rebuild a working relationship with the supplier, but due to these events such we are no longer going to work with them.

We are very sorry for all the delays due to this.

    Now the good:

As such we've found a new supplier, based in the UK. It will make it a lot easier for us to work with them, the response times on orders will be much quicker, and we will be able to do smaller production runs, meaning we can innovate quicker. In addition we've had feedback from some of you, that you'd prefer a UK made product, which we completely understand. The downside for us is that the manufacturing costs increase quite a bit. We will honour any existing orders, or quotes, but we may have to slightly increase the price in the future, but we'll try and keep it as close to £15 as possible.

So the exciting news is, we'd like to announce what we think is a world first, a head in green UHMW-PE! (Please let us know if someone else has done green heads before, but we've not heard of it).

We've ordered an initial run of 100 heads, and they will be in stock on November 21st. About half those are already assigned to existing orders, but we will be putting the rest up for sale shortly.

We've refined the design slightly, the outer diameter is now down to 60mm, from 63.5mm, and we've added a little more material to the internal corners, at the cap, and open end, to give a longer life. We expect the weight to remain pretty much the same as it is now.

In the meantime we still have the HDPE heads, which while an accidental product, are a great budget head, we love playing with them, and for £6 we don't believe there is a better product on the market. We currently have about 400 left in stock, but they are selling quickly.

  • i think MILK did a few green ones, i remember lauren playign with one. No idea if its the same material though. So, when can i get some poles?

  • Yes, Quentin just pointed that out to me, they did a few green prototypes

The first batch of poles sold out in less than 2 days, we've got more coming later this month.

  • Available now:

We've done an initial limited run, and most of them are taken by existing orders, but there will be a few on the shop later.

  • Did you make a note of my order of 1 at breakfast on saturday?

  • They're edible?

  • Won't that cap shatter when you try to use it? Making it 3x the diameter of the head was a bit silly. The transparent material is great though.

  • John, please keep 4 aside for me and Josh, I think I've already part-paid for one in black pudding, paypal you the balance? :)

  • lulz.

    B, no problem.

Boagey, yeah, not sure where I'm going to put black pudding on the balance sheet...

  • Wants some green in my life!

  • thanks John.
(i can feel a promo hook up with snoops team coming)

  • Wants some green in my life!

    Hound.

  • Lol!

  • By existing orders do you mean replacements and the like?

  • Rob, that includes replacements, yes, and orders that have been made in the last months.

After all that, we have about 15-20 for sale.
