    F34RtheG34R5

    ?

  • Also, only now have I seen the irony, F34Rthefixed didn't fear the fix, but it broke ya.

  • hahaha f34rtheg34r5. definately gonna have to request a username change now....

  • all that money on expensive, light components and you're adding all the weight back on with paint.. oh dear

    hit the gym cockfag

  • Interested to see how this turns out. Pictures of progress?

  • +1, pics will be nice

  • I'm also excited to see pics, mainly to prove it doesn't have 12 miles of seatpost showing and spacers reaching the moon. God forbid it fits!

EDIT: I'm making fun of scoble, not the OP. Just to be clear!

  • cĀ“mon guys, if someone is spending that amount of money in a bike, it will fit him, no one gets here the first day as newb and get this kind of bike, building it up himself...

    Ed and his ideas...

  • its a 64cm, and I'm 5'1", that fits right yes?

pics shall be uploaded in the morning, have been ultra busy today, sanding and painting and sanding and painting. i fucking hate sandpaper!

and paint come to think of it.

its looking really good now, 1st coat of laquer on there now....

  • 64 cm for a 5' 1"?? hope its a typo error mate..

  • he is taking the piss FFS

  • ^ me too! :-D

  • of course!

  • i am not joking. i am also running a slammed pivotal seat and used lead paint. the wheels didn't fit right so i used a hammer to get them on straight. i have drilled the hub to make it fixed and have also removed some spokes to save on weight.

but on a serious note -

really annoyed, the finish of the laquer is not as good as i hoped, so I'm sanding it back and trying that again. getting quite a feel for the whole process though, its been a lot easier than expected.

    first coat of paint.

    then sanded -

    Miss you, xx.

Now everyone let this fella get on with his thread, I want to see the out come.

  • one of my best mates john came over and helped me build it tonight. i mean i say he helped, he built it while i drank beers and asked questions. i adjusted the seat height myself, and pumped up the tyres though.

    still waiting on the decals.....

  • Pictures are not displaying for me?

  • Me neither...

  • Was better with the paint. It's a bit 'crabon' now.

  • Needs stickers.

  • well, she had her maiden voyage, did the wiggle northern angel sportive, man it was killer, but she handled it well!

hit 20% gradients, descended at 45mph, burned 5000 calories, job done.

  • You sure that bike fits?

  • That bar tape has to go!

  • Otherwise it's rather nice! :)
