i am not joking. i am also running a slammed pivotal seat and used lead paint. the wheels didn't fit right so i used a hammer to get them on straight. i have drilled the hub to make it fixed and have also removed some spokes to save on weight.
but on a serious note -
really annoyed, the finish of the laquer is not as good as i hoped, so I'm sanding it back and trying that again. getting quite a feel for the whole process though, its been a lot easier than expected.
first coat of paint.

one of my best mates john came over and helped me build it tonight. i mean i say he helped, he built it while i drank beers and asked questions. i adjusted the seat height myself, and pumped up the tyres though.

well, she had her maiden voyage, did the wiggle northern angel sportive, man it was killer, but she handled it well!
hit 20% gradients, descended at 45mph, burned 5000 calories, job done.
