Did someone say beer?
Looking lovely apollo, Rourke make awesome frames, the wrapover seatstays are apparently a bastard to make but definitely worth the effort

Cheers Jordan, they do look so clean in the flesh..
Also just dissasemled the rear derailleur and gave the jockey wheels & plates a clean as well as the brakes... starting to take shape..

That's quite a short looking stem. Could be perfect for you, for all I know though.
Athena/Veloce front mechs were selling for £10-ish about two years ago when I bought a couple. PX are selling them for £30 or so which seems a bit steep.
There are plenty of front mechs on eBay though.

"At Rourkes, they favour what is widely recognised as the strongest way to attach the seatstays, whereby they are mitred to wrap right around the seat cluster and rejoin above it.
'The "wrapover" seatstay has been something of a Rourke trademark for over 30 years,' JAson said when he'd finished mitring. I'll be honest: it's a right headache but it looks great. At least we think so.'"
This quote I was referring to was from some free book I got called "It's all about the bike" I believe there was a BBC programme also

Small update,
Mint white Ti railed San Marco Rolls saddle arrived this morning (ebay bargain)
As did the dt cable stops and Elite bottle cage from Planet X
Loving the yellow detail on the bottle cage, silly, but it ties in well.

great vid thanks
so 2 parts?
I wasn't 100% sure, but that vid confirmed that the seat stays are separate and joined at the top

It does make sense, as the wrapover part is thinner than a folded tube... just looks so smooth though!

Incredible workmanship all over on the Rouke frames really, think you really hit gold with that one Apolloxl.
