• H are you going for all one colour?
Are there going to be decals etc?

You want it to work with the graphics of the finishing kit etc

I'd be tempted to leave the rear-triangle raw (or even the whole thing) and with a clear coat the brazing and angles of this bike almost deserve to be viewed like this - it's a forum fave so...

That all sounds a bit pompous.

  • This project is so cool. My favourite colour is dog turd brown, I think Campagnolo aero brakes are the coolest looking ever, and that you would gain more hipster points by getting a tricycle made before they were cool. So make your bike like this and I will think it is sick to the power or rad and rep your every post.

Or, just build your dream bike and ride the hell out of it. I am actually interested in the reasons why people spec their bikes.

Though you should let greenracer build it for you.

  • They were even known as the HIP (High Impact Paint) colours!

Ha! My favourite bit is a list of the colours that were "allegedly" rejected by Chrysler executives, including Unforseeable Fuicha and Statutory Grape.

  • I always think the Mini 'Interchange Yellow' paint colour would look awesome on a steel road bike:

Probably because it's a very similar colour to this Hufnagel:

  • almost a mustard yellow, I do like.

  • actually, Sumo should get the bike done in a multi coloured baber shop twist, featuring every colour people suggest on this thread

then the armchair pundits of lfgss will all be happy

  • and then end up wrapping it in innertube and leccy tape to protect the paint and make it stealthy

  • then Henry can pull back his stretchy flaps to show you the goodness inside

  • multicoloured? sounds like STDs

  • and then end up wrapping it in innertube and leccy tape to protect the paint and make it stealthy

    you're an idiot.

the inner tube will soften the frame by reducing the vibration to a dull numb feel of a dutch shopper.

  • bluewaffle is my favourite colour

  • you're an idiot.
    wow, thanks man.

  • I dunno, the colour tint of the lemon party is a little closer to the mustard yellow shown, obviously a little less yellow with a sporadic dust of white and pinks.

  • lemon party? I hope you know what you're talking about...

  • v moser brown?

  • DJ reported for trolling and internet bullying.

  • v moser brown?

the brown rear triangle, with the blue waffle front.

and then saddle + bartape colour match the lemon party.

  • That bottom one is nice. I was thinking a dark purple for a while. Something like this.

this and a clear coat or a dark grey

  • Would be like the bike tart's baum

  • it works well as an accent colour, look at this feather

  • Feather is horrid

  • you're an idiot.

the inner tube will soften the frame by reducing the vibration to a dull numb feel of a dutch shopper.

This thread isn't about your bikes, Ed.

  • actually, Sumo should get the bike done in a multi coloured baber shop twist, featuring every colour people suggest on this thread

You know what that's actually a really good idea - just a shame the cost would be prohibative.

That would go awesome with the tyres!
