Bugger, you've set the bar high for any future Gios (or any other) project, beautiful!

I have the white 1983/4 Gios Professional bought off a forum member recently. The bike is in near perfect condition, and the packing for shipping to Australia was exceptional.
Fortunately only a few things (brake levers and gear levers) to acquire and then the build starts. I had some off white paint matched yesterday for the few stone chips.
And I bought the nut spinner recommended for brake lever mounting.
I will be recovering a Brooks saddle frame in the Ottusi style, and having a try at stitched leather wraps on the handlebars in the Almarc style. To reflect the bike is now in Australia, I bought some kangaroo leather yesterday for the bars. This leather is supposed to be much stronger than regular leathers for the same thickness. If I lived closer to Canberra I might have bought the roo leather cheaper. Soon to be an increase in supply. -
