There was a freemasons building next to my old school. when we were younger some of the 6th former got on to the roof of the building and were caught and beaten up by masons.

Yeah I know but I honestly didnt feel like an outsider (!) My gilfriends dad even has his own lodge (I was drunk when he was explaining it, not 100% sure). He invited me to join the Masons but I said I would think about it.
I never saw any silly hand shakes or anything though
really want to make something up.

I know they do alot of 'favours' for each other. You would hope it was all legal and above board..I'll scratch your back, you scratch mine, kind of thing. That could potentially be a bit nasty. If someone helped you out you might feel pressured into helping them out.
