Lemon Jelly - Somerset House Mix
Given out as a free CD to all those that attended the gig in 2004. One of the best gigs I've ever been to, they projected their visuals on the walls. The mix is brilliant, so happy and upbeat, perfect summer tunes - think Avalanches Since I left You album.

ace thread!
a couple of oddballs that i have on heavy rotation:
http://www.mashit.com/2008/03/22/dj-mix-squincy-jones-nintendub/
a crunkstep/nintendo mash-up that is exquisitely mixed. highlights include the theme song from The Lost Boys at the very endhttp://www.urb.com/2008/01/11/justice-fabric-rejected-mix-mp3/
I have reservations if this was indeed a rejected fabrix mix, but it's definitely justice, and definitely worth a listen.

Mr. Mulatto 'Don't be a fish out of water' 1992 (tape only!*)
Straight up U.S style house mix that has never been bettered.*youwanticanprovide
I had that Mulatto mix...the best ever. Lent to a mate...lost. I would dearly love to hear it again if you have a rip. I remember 'The Swing Kids - Good Feelin' (TNT Bonus Beats)' being on there.
Apparently there are 2 of these mixes...I only had one...blue cover with a yellow or golden fish on it if I remember correctly.I've got a few mixes that I haven't seen around. Just need to sort out an audio interface and they will be up here as soon as.
Peace

Disco gems and re-edits:

From the comments section:
I was at a party last weekend and the usual bearded types were huddled around the laptop playing tunes no one was interested in. After an hour or so of no one dancing and people openly muttering about how crap the music was, I elbowed my way to the front and politely suggested we put on this Psychemagik mix. I don't think I need to tell you what happened next, suffice to say that an hour later there was a very different party going on. To put it another way, if you put this mix on at a party and people aren't dancing, you're at the wrong party.

I'm seeing Mr. Mulatto tomorrow night. I'll get him to bring an original tape out for you. He still has a few left. PM me your address and I'll get it to you.

Solid Steel in association with Serato (31st August) 3 years ago Solid Steel DJs Cheeba, Moneyshot and Food had the idea of collaborating on a version of the Beastie Boys‘ ‘Paul’s Boutique’ album made entirely from the original sample sources, shortly after Moneyshot aired his mix of their ‘Check Your Head’ album in the same way.
Finally the result is here, titled ‘Caught In The Middle Of A 3-Way Mix’ - each of them have taken a third of the album to work on and combined their efforts into a mix that will make you hear it in a new way. Aside from the original sample sources they’ve included commentary from the Beasties, vintage interviews, demo versions and much more.
The mix was over half way completed when they heard the tragic news of MCA‘s death in May so the impetus to finish it was instantly doubled and new meaning given to the project. It goes without saying that this is also a tribute to Adam Yauch and the legacy he left behind and we hope it will be embraced by Beastie fans around the globe.
