Will you ride it on the Dunwich Dynamo as you build it specify for purpose like this?
no.why should i? Get more grief? Fuck that for a laugh. I aint riding this until I feel ready and i think the bike will be ready.

So to avoid getting grief for not riding the bike you're going to not ride it?

Sorry, you know the rotor track cranks?
Solid crank spider, external BB drilled out etc.
Mine weigh about 650g with 48t chainring on and 170mm arms.
im sure somewhere i can find photos of the individual components. -

Im looking to build a Weight Weenie long distance fixed bike. An 'as light as possible' bike that I can use safely (since im not the lightest of people, this must be considered).

Can we have more pictures?
Also what's the combined crank, chainring and BB weight?
600 grams for the cranks
28.4 for the chainring -
• #3285
Cheers, that's quite close to rotor on the cranks, chainring is off a fair bit though.
-
• #3286
If you could find 172.5mm cranks, you'd get the weight down to 520grams
Not sure you can skid a fibrelyte chainring
-
• #3287
Don't worry I'm not weight weenieing just building it up relatively light.
Still using the aluminium seatpost you leant me, also a Thomson stem and aluminium pursuit bars aren't exactly light. -
