  • what is this rotor you speak of?

Sorry, you know the rotor track cranks?
Solid crank spider, external BB drilled out etc.
Mine weigh about 650g with 48t chainring on and 170mm arms.

  • Will you ride it on the Dunwich Dynamo as you build it specify for purpose like this?
    no.

why should i? Get more grief? Fuck that for a laugh. I aint riding this until I feel ready and i think the bike will be ready.

  • So to avoid getting grief for not riding the bike you're going to not ride it?

im sure somewhere i can find photos of the individual components.

  • no.

Im looking to build a Weight Weenie long distance fixed bike. An 'as light as possible' bike that I can use safely (since im not the lightest of people, this must be considered).

  • So to avoid getting grief for not riding the bike you're going to not ride it?
im saying - fuck the haters. Go somewhere else.

Im not going to say if or when i ride it.

  • v
    still no

Would love to see them if you can.

Fair enough, it is your bike after all.

  • Can we have more pictures?

Also what's the combined crank, chainring and BB weight?

    600 grams for the cranks
    28.4 for the chainring

  • Cheers, that's quite close to rotor on the cranks, chainring is off a fair bit though.

  • If you could find 172.5mm cranks, you'd get the weight down to 520grams

Not sure you can skid a fibrelyte chainring

  • Don't worry I'm not weight weenieing just building it up relatively light.
Still using the aluminium seatpost you leant me, also a Thomson stem and aluminium pursuit bars aren't exactly light.

  • If you want to go full retard weight weenie Ian, then I can haz dibs on the tri spok?

  • Man they're ugly, they must be well safe.

  • rotors or trispok?

  • Rotors, e'ery one knows spoks are the shit.

  • and those rotors are with out the BB weight included...

  • ^^Phew you had me scared there

  • Who thinks iain should lend me this for the rollapaluza urban hill climb?

  • No...

  • Isn't it a bit big?

  • Ive seen where you leave stuff...

    Ive seen the blood...

AND YOU HAVE YOUR OWN SETA!

  • my seta is a fatty :(

  • Who thinks iain should lend me this for the rollapaluza urban hill climb?
