  • "...apart from pulling a tooth off the ring they were fine..."

    Ha!

  • Get the fucker built and ride it, if something fails then replace it.

    Hint:

  • Nice threegoons, whats the rim? I like the idea of some super light wheels, acceleration and climbing would be amazing i bet.

  • Well PX carbon tubs are 250g and they're on sale for £79.99 atm.
    GoGoGo

  • ^^ The XR200 sticker on the inside might be a giveaway mate! ;)

  • I've got Kinlin XR200 rims and they're a bit on the delicate side, I've not had any problems with them but I only weigh 60kg and went with 24/28 (mostly for peace of mind as these are my most used wheelset).

I ended up buying them from here and they ended up being very affordable even with shipping and a tiny customs fee. They do however state that if you weigh more than 190lbs (86kg) you should use one of the deeper sectioned rims Kinlin offer.

  • I'm now about 94kg I think... OldSkoolRacer can confirm.

  • did you sit on him?

  • on his face

  • Tell me.you love me

  • I don't know how much this gets ridden but I've been having so much fun on mine, just get it how you're happy and ride the fuck out of it.

  • this was not ridden to Minkfarmers birthday party

  • I thought it was safe enough to do so?

If it's genuinely is super safe, then it'll serve well to get you to the pub.

  • It will never be safe with that chainring...

  • It will never be safe with that rider.
    ftfy

  • I thought that about myself for a while but it's really changed my riding style.

  • You can either removed the brakes and spend months learning to be a better cyclist at reading traffic, riding at an idea speed to avoid collision, riding in primary etc.

Or take cycle training to learn it quicker and accurately.

    Latter is better.

  • I've done both and both did help.

  • There's such a thing as brakeless cycle training !?

  • " There's such a thing as brakeless cycle training !?"

It's more like a natural selection process...

  • am glad it appears Iain has a different fork to the stock one...

  • Hehe the the stock forks will kill you...

  • No problem with the stock forks myself, but I am 60kg
