basically, at one of our house things, someone has scratched it in an attempt to be funny...

I highly doubt someone who went to Iain's house has scratched it on purpose.

^this. i don't know who was at this party, but it strikes me as very unlikely that anyone who would attend a party at CdC would think that was either funny or okay.

Its not a crack and it is certainly accidental. It may have even been me but the fact that people were horsing around trying to be funny mean i can blame anyone but myself for its appearance.

But yes, now its got its first scratch.

I took it for a whip round the block a month back, but accidently scratched it so thought best not to ride it again.

if he takes it outside there's a chance dirt will get into the tyre tread which would increase any subsequent weighing attempts.
