  • ^ & ^^ husband ?

have we scared CB off his own thread ?
maybe he's changed user name to avoid the bullying

in fact i might even report myself for bullying ... i feel terrible

  • Im still here. It would take a lot to scare me orf.

sadly though i do have an intense job to do.

But as Damo points out, Im not going to ride it in this weather. fuck that for a laugh

  • bridges ride .. it's bound to be dry

  • dry meaning no booze?

  • Bridges ride clashes with my housemates birthday. Though, knowing him, he wont be there for his bday and will be on the Bridges Ride.

  • In completely unrelated news, there seems to be a new post on HTFU London:

so you'll be attending your flat mates b'day party even though he isn't going ... did you even invite him ?

  • who wants to go to a party at their own house...

  • get so drunk you don't know it's yours then you can trash it to your hearts content

just make sure you don't know its yours

  • it has only just got silly?

i thought the stupidity started here https://www.lfgss.com/post2903438-1.html
The groundwork started a while ago.

  • Was that my first post?

    Rock on!

  • Cock off.

  • You sound like a gay nugget.

  • The groundwork started a while ago.

Ha. He started confused, he's still confused!

  • oh, i wont do the stage tonight. No real gear... Plus i dont want my mode of transport to fall apart just yet! lol

    Heh, super safe eh?

  • i dont even know what that means

  • Im not going to ride it in this weather. fuck that for a laugh

    It's not even raining.

  • Anyway- ill ride mine when I'm ready

    epic

  • is a bike really super safe if you won't ride it in the rain for fear of damaging it?

  • It's super safe if it doesn't leave the house.

This bike is the Pandora's box of LFGSS. As long as Iain doesn't let it leave the house it's fine, but as soon as he rides it who knows what evils will emerge...

It might as well say 'Hephaestus' on the down tube, instead of Dolan.

The difference between Pandora and Iain is the the gods don't seem to have vested any curiosity in him, so he seems to have no desire to find out what riding the bike is like.

We, of course, just like the gods, know that Iain's riding the bike is inevitable, just like the gods knew that Pandora would open the box.

And just as Pandora feared the wrath of the gods, Iain fears our reaction when he rides it and breaks it, which we also know is inevitable.

So basically he might as well just ride it and get it over with.

  • ^trying too hard

  • Bet you don't even know who Hephaestus is.

    It's a fitting metaphor.

  • I did, once. My classical education was beaten out of me during my time at art college in the ghetto. I dropped my t's too. Dark days.

  • It's a fitting metaphor.

    Definitely trying too hard.

Anyway- I'll ride mine when I'm ready

This was good enough for me.

  • It might be an analogy actually. I dunno, I'm tired.
