There are no track cranks that will come close to this weight even though its a road (actually MBT) cranks. And 177.5mm i think is wrong. Its not that long.

it ain't broke, it just lacks duct tape ...
Two rules get you through life: If it's stuck and it's not supposed to be, WD-40 it. If it's not stuck and it's supposed to be, duct tape it :)

I was thinking 'can I justify this as a pratt truss and make a lol moment at CB's expense'.
Mainly because I'm jealous of his project.

Are these cranks really nearly 180mm? You realise that will make them harder to spin?

given Iain's proclivity towards polo gearing that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I regularly switch from 165s to 175s and don't notice the change. don't get many miles in though, so take that with a pinch of salt.

I predict >>>>anti>>>>>classified

Actually, if you see any of my bikes, most could easily be anti based on the parts I add...
I will not be placing these on the classifieds.
In other ideas... As this is a 130 BCD, I was thinking of using a small chainring and a small cog to save weight:-)

really? I find the jump from 172.5 to 165 pretty noticeable
