Yeah me too. My size. Are there any PITA issues with these frames? Cannondale bb madness, weird headsets etc?
-

I paid 250 for my frame. I did initially think it was the full bike for that price which is why I thought it was a bargain.
Googling the 52, it appears that the top and downtubes meet before the headtube so I'm confident its a 54

Ah thanks for this. Didn't realise a caad10 could be found as cheap.

Yeah but mass produced Taiwan.
System Six is made in the US and a bit of a modern classic.

No point in buying a cannondale track, you could buy 10 pre cursas

I have bought CAAD10 frameset in the past and sold one too used but it was to/from people I know. £250 down the drain vs £700 (or whatever it is) for 'lifetime' peace of mind .. I know what I'd do. Same goes for ANY carbon frames too if not more.

It's BB30 and the headtube takes an oversized to hiddenset reducer IIRC. This one has a BSA adapter in it by the look of things.

could be an un-rideable modern classic vs rideable Taiwan tho
-
• #8135
What is this "riding" you speak of?
-
• #8136
If it's made it this far it's probably OK :)
Although buying a frame from 'Baz' never fills me with confidence.

• #8137
Whats Baz short for? Ben?

I'm on the lookout for an ernie so if you are thinking about machining / making something...

56cm System Six on eBay right now, pick up only in Yorkshire.
If I buy it anyone want all the parts bar the stem?

The one pictured with double spoks but comes with Aksiums?

Sportive/Agresive riding is not meant to be 100% comfortable I think.
Actually it can, even shrouded with 23mm tyres, it's entirely possible to be comfortable on a 300km ride in one day.
@PhilDAS is right, work on your flexibility and core strength, give yourself more time to get used to the bicycle, your bike is not even that aggressive, it's position very much resemblance an audax bike, and my audax bike's position is more aggressive!
I also like to have full contact with my brake levers etc. (it's busy on my commute).
Your brake levers can be adjusted to bring the levers closer to the handlebar, making it easier to wrap your finger round while riding on the drop, as oppose to grasping it when needed.
I think the main problem isn't the depth of the drop, but the shape of it, as the bend is a little aggressive on that model, whether handlebar like the 3T Egonova that you have mentioned, have a more gentle bent that make it more comfortable to rest your hand on for a prolonged period of time;

Yep, I have no use for the kit, would like the frame though.
Advertising it with beauty pageant wheels is a bit cheeky, also.

I did have a look in case I could help but it's shimano 105 and I'm a Sram fanboy unfortunately

Thank you ed, I think it's indeed a mather of km's and minor adjustments.
I'm relative short, shorter arms and smaller hands. Did some measuring and I should have a 40cm bar instead of this default 42cm.
I now have my eyes on Profile Design
DRIVE bars that are more fitting for my size. 1/zerofive in 40cm. Will see what it does. -

They won't sell without the wheels, I think £699 is a bit toppy for the complete bike given that it's 10 speed. Impasse!

If you have smaller hand, then look into the reach adjustment of your Shimano levers, this will make a big difference in being able to comfortably brake in the drop.
Thats similar price to what a CAAD10 would go. Which is also a risk buying used given how Cannondale has gone to lengths to make it light. System Six is a risk on another level .. all that Caad10 risk (BB30, Thin wall alu) plus alu carbon bond.
