  • Come to the very sad realisation that I can't afford to have a canyon and the caad10.

Anyone tempted by one of the better caad10 colourways?

  • If it was disc and adult sized I would have been

  • I'll check if it's the same sizes as the Shimano Orcalink one.

  • Small, too small to fit the size sticker in on the seat tube.

  • Clean it, ffs.

  • it's 48cm

I know it needs a clean, but you also have to be aware, it is 6 years old, there is some grime that just wont budge.

Whats it worth with force22? I think I might love it more than its worth

  • That pink Muc Off bike cleaner might do the trick, mine is the opposite colour scheme to your's and it works better on the white than any thing else (next bike will not be white).

  • Well, no reply from Bike24 about my missing washer, so I've ordered another set of crank bolts from R2. Poxy bloody washers.

  • Poor form from Bike24 there :/

  • ^^^^^^^^^ slack chain

  • selling the saddle? dibs if so ..

  • I'd buy the saddle if you're selling

  • I'd trade the saddle for a composit @amey @Sumo

  • In my experience their prices are keen, their deliveries are prompt, and their customer service is pretty much non-existent.

  • Going to ride the 3 peaks in yorkshire at the start of November on my caadx, anyone know if it has the clearance to fit 40c wtb nanos?

  • That's fucking rad

  • I've never ridden three peaks so just a thought, but ime thinner tyres (32/35c) with wide spaced chunky tread grip in and shed mud better. In November off road it might be better to have more mud clearance than wider tyres. See also mini-v brakes.

This, pointless having super wide tyres if you can't actually turn them

  • I though everyone ran Schwalbe Land Cruisers for the 3 peaks?

  • all good advice - I'll stick with the 28mm slicks then.

  • For the race, yea that seemed to be the thing

Maybe things have moved on a bit or this is more recreational

  • Poor form from Bike24 there :/

Credit where credit's due - I've now heard back from Bike24, and because the washers aren't available separately, they're sending a new set of crank bolts and washers. A bit slow, but it appears they get there in the end.
