sure, if you need illustrator/photoshop help give me a shout. Dan Chabanov's CAAD10 comes to mind .. bit more refined though.

ha! I like that-looks like sharpie over the paint? I think I've an orange paint pen somewhere...

Bit 2013 if you ask me .. I am sure you will come with a better aesthetic :P

if that is a crack that is the weirdest looking crack i have ever seen. looks way more like carbon mould issue

You bitch!
If i was "doing it properly" i'd just get it powdercoated. I'm having flashbacks to the last time I tried to strip a bike with Nitromorse too and it was disgusting. Hmm.
Might sell the Hollowgrams too, they're 53/39 and probably too stiff for my crappy wee leggies.

Just get a different spider/rings.

Do it 'properly' but ironically
Best brief ever

My caad10 fork is a mess like that, yes. It's not confidence inspiring but I think it's normal.
-
• #4710
My caad10 fork is also similar around the bottom of the steerer.

Wootwoot! Cheers for the verification chaps. I was fearing the worst and now it's all pretty rosy. Welcome news :)

looking v. spendy for new rings and the chances of someone swapping the other way are fairly minimal so would probably to sell the entire crankset then try to re-buy compacts at a sane price.
-
• #4713
They are merely £50 more than any decent chainrings tbh. But yeah you can get a 6800 crank for less than the cost of those rings. 24mm axle tho ..

There's little you can't ride in the UK on a road double with a sensible cassette
Although you do tend to wear out the bigger sprockets :)
-
• #4715
Oh jesus no 6mm of axle width
-
• #4716
what I meant was 24mm axle in BB30 frame with all that adapter malarky .. I am shimano (hence 24mm) 4lyf so I wont ever get a BB30 frame.
-
• #4717
BB86 tho
-
• #4718
BB86BB90 thoNatively 24mm axle, cant even take 30mm :P
-
• #4719
My caad10 fork is also a mess around the bottom of the taper. I think thats just what they look like.
I'd also be quite keen to buy your cranks id they are the right length, pm me if you do decide to sell them!

Were some CAADS designed for brakes to be fitted on the inside of the stays? Perhaps a daft question but my allen-fitting brake bolt only fits that way around, although the cable routing is still on the left so it doesn't seem right.
brakes are Athena 11's.

MAAD10 almost done

Lol @ cranks.
That's pretty sick though.

I dunno. I'm pretty cautious but that doesn't look like impact damage or that it goes into the carbon weave.
I don't have any bolts for mounting the derailleur hanger tho so will have to wait and find out : /
Deliberating on going to B&Q and getting some Nitromorse, emery and a few cans of spray paint atm.
Primer grey with matte lacquer, possibly a fluo orange?
