AFAIK the Lefty Speed Carbon PBR is 1197g, heaviest is the 29ers PBR at 1410g.

Rock Shox RS-1 is under 1700g.

RS-1 is interesting because it's the right way up but not dual crown, unlike the Maveric DUC

Apparently it's a bit shit tho

I'm comparing it to a normal fork because the weight of the lefty would be more comparable to a single crown fork than a double in term of weight.

But can anyone tell us how much it weighs though?

Nobody knows, I guess it's one of life's greatest mystery.

Depending on the fork weight... I really want to test ride a Slate.

Find out the weight of the frame and all the other components on that 9.92kg build and you've got your answer ;-)

The CAAD12 will only be available as a frameset in the UK as a disc only model

Re Slate in the US: The Slates are not available from Cannondale until January 2015 at the earliest.

So the state of slates in the states, is wait?

After everyone has forgotten about them? I see.

Lot of gravel on todays ride, a Slate would have been ideal.

But I can't have one, so I bought a Klein instead.
