  • @Max, Cannondales are poncey bikes, for poncey people.
I read that somewhere, so it must be true.

  • Had a 1999 (?) F4000 SL that did everything for me including a commuter for 4 years. Nothing special if memory serves other than it never put a wheel wrong, squeaked, rattled etc and in the end it went on the 'bay last year for £800. 800 quid for a ten year old mountain bike! I love Cannondales!

  • Goes off to start a "Post your beach cruiser" thread

  • or this

is this the aforementioned beach bike?

(this may need an image to deliver, but fuck it.)

  • I like Cannondale bicycles, particularly older ones.
    I have two.

    1992 Cannondale Track 3.0

    1987 Cannondale Team Comp

Somewhere in rural Gloucestershire, a farmer wonders who on earth has nicked all his gates.

  • I used to roll a Lefty.
    Was it alright?
    Not really.

I always loved that frame to bits! Somehow it has perfect proportions and I love the color combo and decals. Reminds me a bit of Nascar racing.

  • She was a looker for sure

  • I used to have a C'dale M3000 mountainbike (correct?).
Forst, it had a rigid fork, which has been replaced by a RS Judy XC or so.
No pictures on hand of the bike when I owned / rode it.
Now, my brother in Ecuador rides it.

Here on the summit of "La Virgen" on 4000+ m altitude (C'dale on the left).

  • Huge

  • cannondales - one is never enough

  • Ha.

    Some really nice bikes posted.

I love old Cannondales, some of the best aluminum bicycle construction to date.
