  • just got this r900. Its got a weird 1 1/4 head tube but spacers should make it better. Stoked to build!

  • I made a puller using bits of an old seatpost saddle clamp and an external bb driver socket head

  • I've got the park one, its in my pile of stuff to sell as I no longer have a bb30 frame. Give me a shout if you want it.

  • Thanks. Could be interested, yep. PM'd.

  • Nothing exploded tho, and no bad guys were harmed.

    Dissapointing. Must try harder.

  • 4 days into week long rental of the blinged out Synapse on Mallorca. Not doing epic miles but getting out for 3-4 hours every morning and chilling on beach in PM.

Bike definitely not for weenies but after a bit of a nervous start (oh shit the brake levers are Euro style) bombing mountain hairpins with goats appearing at random at c. 100 kg has been a joy with the hydro brakes. Tres comfortable with the super skinny seat post and fat tyres on Aksium disc wheels.

Only problem was the bb30 which was clicking horribly from day 1 and had to go back to Xabi who maintains a fleet of 300 rental Cannondales and curses their factory bb installs as having no grease in them.

    10/10 can't afford to bang.

  • bars higher than saddle?

  • Whats the thoughts on SiSL2 and 11 speed campag? Thinking of getting a set. Does anyone know where the bargains are at?

  • Pwoper scoble stack action but there is a bit of a drop. After spinning up a climb for 30 mins plus my back is appreciating it tbh.

Sa Calobra still to tick off the list

  • Those the 140mm rotors? I got scared at the last moment and put a 160 on the front.

  • that is exactly the bike that appeals to me, though would swap out the wheels for something more shiny like Reynolds Assault

  • eBay but you'll need your own rings, maybe. Praxis?

  • Sweet. Try getting one with spidey - the others all seem to come with gash FSA rings

  • Thats the plan! Seems like Sigma / Westbrook are the only places that have them in stock.

  • I've got a praxis conveter running Rotors on my CAAD9. Works a treat.

  • Qwerty have them by the looks of things.

  • Nice! I've been grinning like a fool on my freshly acquired 2014, non-disc ultegra hi-mod synapse for the last week. 10/10 from me as well

  • Not mine, but do like it:

  • Replied! The one I have is the one @Dammit was mentioning; a drift and press adaptors (requires the addition of a hammer and a headset press). BBT-30.3 I believe.

  • Had to go back to Xabi who maintains a fleet of 300 rental Cannondales and curses their factory bb installs as having no grease in them.

I'm so glad I don't work for a Cannondale reseller anymore (but do get paid to service their notorious BB), they make excellent bike, but are utterly crap prebuild.

  • Having used both the SiSL cranks and an S-Works carbon crank I'd go with the S-Works every time, stiffer, lighter and cheaper.

  • There's a reason they go for £80 on eBay though.

  • Yeah, because most people think they will only fit in a Specialized frame, but they will fit in any BB30 PF30 frame.
